This brand new school will serve the children of this rural area. The kids are deeply underprivileged and many have escaped unimaginable horrors across the border.
Education here is vital and plays a huge role in giving these kids a better start in life.
In actual fact our engineer arrived as a child in Mae Sot having crossed the border from Burma with no education or money. He went through a school similar to those that we build and now has a great business and reputation locally and has worked on the majority of our projects.
This particular community previously built a small school, but have very much outgrown it and are in need of something bigger and more secure in a different location.
